…connecting you with the science in your life…

Four-Season Science

4SS-logoCirc1Four-Season Science deals with the inverse relationship between farming and the school year — school is “in session” when it’s “off-season” for farming.

Using science we can grow things even in the cold weather months when school is in session.

Study and experimentation have taught us that we can harvest healthy food in the coldest winter months, up north — even in states like Maine and Wisconsin.

That’s where we want to focus.

We are growing in our hoop house at DtE partner CSTL’s Tanglewood Preserve, thanks to the volunteers who have invested their Sunday mornings and the Long Island Pay It Forward Conference for making this possible.
